I have partnered with Mentaya to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Use this tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services.

Insurance Friendly Practice

Payment is accepted by credit card or HSA/FSA card. Payment is due in full the day of your session. I am considered a "self pay" or "out-of-network" provider. This means that I am not in-network with insurance companies. Clients are welcomed to use Mentaya services to help them learn if they have out-of-network benefits, what those benefits are, and Mentaya can help submit claims on clients behalf for a small fee per claim. Clients may submit their own out-of-network insurance benefits free of charge should their insurance provider offer this coverage. I am able to provide you with a "superbill" which you can then use to submit your own out-of-network insurance benefits. Please let me know if you would like a superbill and I will provide one for you. I am not able to contact insurance companies for you. If you choose to use your out-of-network benefits please contact your insurance provider to inquire about your "out-of-network benefit coverage" so that you have a clear understanding of your out-of-network benefits before beginning therapy.

Please kindly provide a 48 hour notice if you are unable to attend your session. Cancelled or rescheduled sessions with less than 48 hour notice will be charged the full rate. Actual emergencies are excluded from this policy. This policy is in place in order to honor and support all of my clients. Allowing at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment will allow another person to receive care in your place. If you are late to a session we will meet for the remainder of our regular session time. I am unable to meet longer than our regular appointment in order to respect the beginning of my next client's session time.

Under the law, health care providers are required to provide those who do not have insurance or are choosing to not use their insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much mental health care could cost. You may request this estimate before you schedule your service. Keep in mind that frequency of services may change over time based on your needs. If rates change you will be given ample notice and can request an updated estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3959
